My Name is Markus and I currently work on a project where I would be very thankful for support.
Currently I am trying to evaluate the TAS5548 in a different configuration compared to the EVM. First of all, I read already a post in this Forum that TI doesn’t publish the Firmware. Is this Information still valid?
We build the TAS5548 together with the TAS1020 on our own board together with an 8 channel Audio amplifier. Now we wanted to test the board and we were facing two Problems:
1) The USB Device is not recognized as it is the case for the EVM board. Is this related to predefined configuration on the extern EPROM or any pre-configuration on the TAS1020? Or should the TAS1020 work in the same way (if I buy the TAS1020 directly) as it is the case on the EVM board
2) If I use the TAS5548, is the device preconfigured in the same way as it is the case on the EVM Board? So In case the USB Connection is working, I could set up the DSP without any additional Information or stored data inside the EPROM?
