Hi,

I'm using tlv320aic3106 audio codec on my board. I'm looking for driver c source code to use it in my application. My applications runs on a microcontrollwe without any operating system. It will be great if I could get driver to call APIs in my application to initialize and configure registers. Please let me know where I can find it.

Thanks for the link. I'm thinking this linux driver may not be useful for me. I have LPC4088 MCU without a platform/OS. I need tlv320aic3106 to play PCM audio data via I2S interface from MCU. sending audio data is not a problem for me. I need to know what I need to confgiure in codec for playback to work. I2C is the interface I've for accessing codec registers. Please let me know any help specific to my use case.

Hi, Keerthi,

In the TLV320AIC3106, in order to use the Playback function it is necessary to configure the DAC, DAC volume, DAC path (DAC_L/R1, DAC_L/R2, DAC_L/R3) and output drivers.

I would recommend to use the attached document as a guide. It explains which registers are associated to each block.
