PCM1704 in non-oversampling mode

Currently I am using an AD1865 chip in non-oversampling mode in my 16/44 DAC. My intention is to make my next generation DAC 24/96. The PCM1704 seems to be one of the best R2R chips available that has no internal oversampling or I/V conversion. I'm having trouble finding information on how to implement this chip in non-oversampling mode. My current AD1865 design uses a 74HC02 to separate the L and R serial signal. I was wondering if this would work just as well on the PCM1704 or if there are any other recommendations as to converting an I2S signal into BCLK, WDCLK, DOL, and DOR without a digital filter chip in between the digital receiver and the PCM1704 chips.
