I have a customer which used TLV320AIC3204 to do a headphone application , when the product were released to markert, some of them were returned by end customer because the left channel has no sound.
We did ABA test, and the no sound issue followed IC.
We sent the defective sample for FA twice, but the result is normal, the X-Ray, the bench test...
Anyway, my customer found the register value affect the left channel no sound issue.
they changed Page 1, 0xA value from 0x3B to 0x00, then lefe channel will be normal.
0x30-> right/left channel have sound, but with Noise
0x00-> right/left channel have sound, no Noise
0x38-> right/left channel have sound, but with Noise
0x08->right/left channel have sound, but withNoise
0x0b->right channel OK, left channel no sound
0x3a-> right channel OK, left channel no sound
0x3b-> right channel OK, left channel no sound
0x7b->right channel OK, left channel no sound
so I guess LDAC->LDOIN broken inside, LDAC can only be powered up by AVDD.
Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.
