TLV320DAC3101EVM-U: How to write default image to EEPROM

Part Number: TLV320DAC3101EVM-U

Hi,

I confirmed following E2E thread about driver error.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/data_converters/audio_converters/w/design_notes/2790.how-to-revive-a-usb-audio-evm

According to above thread, it seems that user write binary file to update firmware.

However, if user write binary file to update firmware, I'm not sure whether there is the method which user can write default file to TAS1020B.

Could you please tell us whether there is the method which user can write default file to TAS1020B or not ?

Best Regards,

Machida

  • Hi Machida-san,

I would need to verify this, but I think 44.1kHz is the default firmware for some audio EVMs.
However you can use any of the firmware files mentioned in that E2E thread, the EVM is able to work with those sampling frequencies. There is no need to write the default firmware for TAS1020B when reviving an EVM.
