PCM1863: PCM1863 pop noise

Hi TI engineer，

I used PCM1863 in my project，continuously adjust volume in Mixer PGA by I2C, it would be heard "pop~~" noise, did I make a mistake?

    HI, Li,

    The PCM1863 analog and digital PGAs are zero crossing detection type, so the transitions are made smoothly, avoiding pop or click noise caused by the gain transition. 

    However, the mixer PGA makes the changes immediately, so pop and click noises are likely to appear. It is recommended to perform any change in the mixer PGA with small steps to minimize pop and click.
