Hi, Team,
PCM5242 has an LDOO pin, 1.8V output, it can be either an output or input.
What's the benefit if we supply it with 1.8V externally? Only efficiency? I am not so sure. But it needs an extra LDO.
Thanks!

The supply for internal LDO is DVDD. The power consumption is lower by using external supply voltage on LDO. The internal LDO is regulated at 1.8V. If the DVDD is 1.8V, the LDOO way not well regulated to 1.8V. In this case it is beneficial using en external supply for the LDO
