  • Hanno,
Can you provide more details? it sounds like this is not a consistent issue is that right?

I have been working the the SRC4392 I2C with another customer, and I have not been experiencing this problem myself. any details you can provide on the problem and the frequency of occurrence, etc.. would be helpful

    best regards,

  • Hi,

    Thanks for reopening my thread.
I will try to give you more details. First of all this issue is still present in our product and the only way to fix it is to replace the chip. It does not occur on all boards and although at irregular intervals. Sometimes it takes days, sometimes just hours. If it occurs the bus is busy and interestingly a reset does not help. The SRC4392 keeps the I²C line still low, only a power cycle helps.

    Best regards
  • Hi,

I'm wondering if there is anyone who is interested to help me with my problem.

    Best regards

  • Hi Ralph,

The design team that worked on this device is no longer here and hence it's taking a bit longer to dig into the design implementation of the I2C block. We will work on getting to the bottom of this I2C arbitration issue reported and will have an update. Thanks for your patience.

    Best regards,

    Ravi
