Hi.
Could you please tell me if there is a scheme to make the memory of the PCM 5242 minidsp permanent?
Could it be feasible with this eprom: 24LC256-I / MS?

Hi Eugenio,

The memory on the PCM5242 is only volatile. The coefficients will need to be re-written every time the device is power cycled. It is possible to use an EEPROM to store the coefficients, but a some kind of I2C master will need to read them from the EEPROM and write them to the PCM. A simple MCU could do this as well.
