Hello RG, We have a coefficient calculator available at: http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/coefficient-calc.html . I would recomend a low pass and a high pass for band-pass filtering. I am using the TI bi-quad filter calculator, however I have another calculator that will do IIR filter calculations but it is normalized to 1.0 and uses fractional coefficients. I have done a few calculations with it normalizing a 24 bit coefficient of 8388608 (0x7FFFFF) = 1.0 and it works just fine...

We are building a product from the OMAP-L138 with an audio codec. For the protos we want to use the TLV320AIC3254 instead of the AIC3106 on the L138 development board. However time is critical and thus we are looking for the ALSA Codec for the TLV320AIC3254. In the beginning we only need the same capability...

Hi, J Thanks for the reply. I have further questions in using the audio codec to generate a high frequency tone. 1. Sampling points. Despite the Nyquist, a sine wave may have to have more than 10 sampling point to show its shape. A codec dac is usually limited by its relatively low sampling rate...

Thanks again, J. You seemed to say that as long as the sine wave frequency is lower than 1/2 (Nyquist) sampling rate, there should be no problem. But I would like to confirm this with you again. The reason that I am skeptical about this is my experience with a MATLAB demo. It is in the data acquisition...

Hello, We are using a microcontroller to interface with the AIC3254. We generate the word clock via a timer interrupt and general purpose output. We then generate the bit clock and data using the SPI port. Generally this works fine. But, there is a delay of about 13 us between the word clock toggle...

By reading the previous post, I guess that TLV320AIC3204 can be run at 192 kHz if I use filter C. The data sheet says its sampling rate is 48 ksps. would you confirm this?
