Hello LRHUMB, Adobe Audition (formely Cool Edit), Steinberg Cubase, Cakewalk Sonar and Goldwave are some applications that can handle 192ksps recording. However, our USB controller in the USB-MODEVM motherboard operates at USB full-speed and can handle up to 96ksps. Firmware on the EVM can be re-programmed...

Hi nkeddem, Yes. The AIC3254's PurePath Studio has an A-law and u-law component. The AIC3254 can do 8kHz. In order to use USB audio at 8kHz sampling, the firmware must be reprogrammed using the AIC3254 CS. Look for the Tools>EEPROM Programmer panel. Regards, JA

The AIC3254 miniDSP currently has support for Acoutic Echo Cancellation (AEC) in PurePath GDE. Any plans for providing Line Echo Cancellation (LEC) as well ? It would be very handy for Telco based applications.

In the premade examples from TI, the AEC demo uses I2S as the input/output for audio. In an embedded design, it's intresting to use the A/D & D/A of the CODEC for input/output combined with the AEC. Is it possible to instead use analog Input/Outputs under the AEC framework? And if so, which...
