Hi nkeddem, Yes. The AIC3254's PurePath Studio has an A-law and u-law component. The AIC3254 can do 8kHz. In order to use USB audio at 8kHz sampling, the firmware must be reprogrammed using the AIC3254 CS. Look for the Tools>EEPROM Programmer panel. Regards, JA

I am having some trouble using the Mono Mux component. PurePath publishes the I2C Interface as Page 44, register 8. When I look at the generated driver I see it is using a 24 bit number to select the input ( address 10 holds the selection). The Mux. Help says that this interface is a 32 bit number...

In the premade examples from TI, the AEC demo uses I2S as the input/output for audio. In an embedded design, it's intresting to use the A/D & D/A of the CODEC for input/output combined with the AEC. Is it possible to instead use analog Input/Outputs under the AEC framework? And if so, which...

Hi, I am using the PPS Framework AIC3254 8x4x and it limits the number of cycles of both miniDPSs to a maximum of 1016. Where does this limit come from? I thought that the number of cycles would depend on the audio sample frequency or the miniDSP_CLK, isn't it? Regards, Miguel
