Code transition Boundary

Hi,

Could you please explain with an example what you mean by code transition boundary of an ADC.

  • The code transition boundary is the point at which the transfer function transitions from one code to the next code (e.g. from 0000 0111b to 0000 1000b). Below is a link to some college material that uses this terminology and provides some context.
