Hi everyone,

I have a problem to convert the data I receive from the ADS1232 to a weight data.

I received all the data (24 bits) but when I try to convert this data into a "weight data" I obtein a wrong number, I don't know how I shoud do this conversion, should I use any equation or I can do it in other way.

Hi Jose,

Are you getting from ADC codes to voltage correctly? (refer to table 8 in the ADS1232 datasheet).

The conversion from volts to "weight data" will depend on the load cell characteristics. Typically, the load cell will have a specified full-scale sensitivity, such as "1.0mV/V", which implies that a fully-loaded load cell will output 1mV per 1V excitation voltage.
