LMP91000 bias in deep sleep mode

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMP91000

Hello

We're working on a new handheld, battery powered design using the LMP91000.

Is a bias available in deep sleep mode?

In what states are the control amp A1, the variable bias block circuit and the internal zero reference circuit in deep sleep mode?

And a last question, just for confirmation: The shorting FET can be controlled in deep sleep mode (?).

Thanks again for your help, Christian

  • Hi Christian,

in deep sleep mode the bias and all the other blocks (TIA, Control Op amp, Internal zero reference) are turned off.

So in sleep mode there is no way to keep biaed an electrochemical cell. The shorting FET (which is essentially a switch in the LMP91000) can be controlled in deep sleep mode.

    regards,

    Domenico
