minimum electrodes required for EEG applications

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1299

Hi,

EEG module ADS1299EEG-FE doen't give information about EEG electrodes placement. Also there is no interfacing cable recommendation. there is 10-20 EEG system which is considered as standard.

  • Hey Rucha,

The ADS1299EEG-FE is a evaluation module whose purpose is to provide users with an opportunity to scrutinize the performance and feature set of the ADS1299. TI recommends using the ADS1299EEG-FE in a laboratory environment with a patient simulator or signal generator and as such does not provide guidance or instruction on electrode placement for signal acquisition on live patients (there are some significant legal implications with such recommendations).
