What is difference AMC7812 vs AMC7812B ?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC7812B, AMC7812

What is the difference  between AMC7812 and its "B" version AMC7812B ?

  • Howdy Karne,

The primary difference is the Operating Temperature Range.  You may have noticed this, but the specified range of the AMC7812 device is -40 to 105C, while the AMC7812B device is from -40C to 125C.

    Best Regards,

    Matt

  • ok, thanks. Not easy to notice this.   But the fact that both parts comes under separate part pages on TI site and also have separate formal datasheets does suggest it must be something more significant than temp range. Normally in such cases only suffix varies at the end of ordering code. Possibly there some other undisclosed reasons.

    But thanks any way.
