ADS932E

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS901, ADS900, ADS930

Hi!

Where can I find the datasheet ADS932E?

  • Yury,

Are you sure you have the correct part?

Texas Instruments has the ADS900, ADS901, ADS930, and ADS931. However there is a part called the ADS-932 made by Datel and you can find their datasheet here:

  • Yury,

I've searched for this device and it looks like the ADS932E is some sort of custom part. I wasn't able to find a datasheet, and even if I did find one, I'm not sure I could give it to you because of the custom status. Additionally, this part has been obsoleted and its no longer orderable even as a custom device.

I do have a question out to someone that may have more information about it, and I might be able to get you some more basic information, but it's unlikely that I'll be able to provide a datasheet. Based on the development of this device that I was able to find, I think it's likely that this device is similar to the ADS900E, but again, I don't have any details on it.

I noticed that you'd asked this question to High Reliability Forum and that they were handling this post offline. Did you get a response from this? This device does belong to their product line.

  • Joseph,

Thank you for your very clever idea. I compared ADS932E with ADS930 and ADS931 because these chips have the same packages unlike ADS932. But ADS930 and ADS931 is 8 bit ADC but ADS932E has working pin number 4.
Deu to your information I am now convinced that the ADS932E is ADS930 trimmed to 9 bits.
However ADS932E has circuit closed pins 15 and 16. As can run the chip at which the CLK and /OE is the common signal as the clock frequency?
PS. My question to High Reliability Forum has no response.

    Most Sincerely,
    Yury
  • Yuri,

I've checked with a few more people today and I haven't been able to find any more information for you. I did find a datasheet, but it is only 3 pages, and is presumably a preview for the device in a TQFP package. I won't be able to get this to you because it was a custom device, subject to NDA rules.

I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll be able to find any more information on this device. Again this was a custom development based on some of the ADS9xx parts.

  • Thank you, Joseph.
    Your help was very useful.
