DIR9001: RXIN Requirement of DIR9001

Hi,

I want to inquire about the input data of DIR9001 (RXIN).

I have electro-optical specs of the optical jack, like rise time, fall time, duty cycle..etc. The output of optical jack will be fed to DIR9001 thru RXIN

The DIR9001, does not say about RXIN requirement with regards to these parameters, So I am not sure if the specs of the optical jack conforms with the RXIN specs of DIR9001.

Can help me confirm the RXIN requirement of DIR9001 with regards to rise time and fall time? Where can I find this specs?

    Hi Oslec,

    DIR9001 can receive 28kHz to 108kHz sampling freq, biphase-encoded signal and it complies w. IEC60958-3, JEITA CPR-1205, AES3 and EBUtech3250 standards. 

    As far as the specific solution you are evaluating, are you seeing any issues w. optical output signal being decoded w. DIR9001? I assume you have looked at the connectors specification as well.
