DIT4192: TDM to SPDIF conversion

does the DIT4192 handle TDM input signals? I need a conversion from TDM coming from the DSP to SPDIF for transmission via TIA/EIA-422-A (RS-422).

Hi Hanno,

Unfortunately, we do not have anything in our portfolio at the moment to convert TDP input signal to SPDIF. We continue to update our product roadmap and hope to fill this portfolio gap in the near future.

Hi Ravi,

could our SRC4192 do the job? From my understanding it could transfer TDM (8 channels) to I2S (2 channels). And then DIT4192 convert the I2S to SPDIF. So with an set up of 4 SRC4192 and 4 DIT4192 we should be able to convert the complete TDM stream to SPDIF. What do you think?

This should definitely work to convert TDM to I2S conversion. Based on the initial request, I was under the impression that you were looking for integrated device in our portfolio to convert TDM to I2S...

As a matter of fact, the block diagram on the DS does show the same solution as outlined above in your note...
