Hello, I need to interface DSK6713 with a ADC card and a DAC card. ADC card will be used for data collection from 2/3 analog channels at 100/200Ksps. DAC will be used to supply voltage to 4/5 analog devices. Can I use one 5-6k interface card to connect a ADC and DAC card to DSK 6713? Can I use...

Hi, I'm new to TI's line of DSP products and was hoping I could find some advice here. I'm prototyping a low latency device for a biological application. The device needs to input two analog voltage channels via an ADC, do some processing that involves using the input voltage as the input...

Hi Everyone! This 'etc' forum is not looked after quite as well as some of the others, so if you simply are not sure which (Precision, High Speed, Audio, etc.) forum to post to, please consider the following: Audio converters are pretty self evident - if you've got a question about...

Does TI have an eval board for the DAC7728 octal DAC? Will the TSW1400 ADC/DAC eval card support this device, when the pending CMOS interface firmware for this card is released? What is the expected availability date for this firmware upgrade? Will a special daughter board be required to connect the...

  • Forum Post: Does anybody know why TI makes both DAC5311 and DAC081S101?

    WILLIAM SCHIER WILLIAM SCHIER
Both are rail-to-rail 8-bit parts with SPI interface. Same price, spec differences are minimal. Makes you wonder whether they'll EOL one of them. Digi-key has more DAC5311's if that's any indication.
