ADC12D1600 DESCLKIQ mode
In the pdf ,the datasheet said:
" However, if the ADC is being driven in DESIQ Mode, then the 100Ω differential impedance from the I-input will appear in parallel with the Q-input for a composite load of 50Ω differential and a 1:1 balun would be appropriate. See Figure 15 for an example circuit driving the ADC in DESIQ Mode. "
But when in DESCLKIQ Mode,can i select 1:2 balun to replace 1:1 balun like the figure 15 to drive the ADC ?
You can use a 1:2 balun to drive the ADC in DESIQ Mode, but then you must include a 100 ohm resistor at the output of the balun for impedance matching to the input of the ADC. (In DESIQ Mode, the ADC's effective input impedance is 50 ohm, differential). This 100 ohm resistor will incur an additional 3dB loss in the signal path, so you may prefer to drive the ADC with a 1:1 balun in DESIQ Mode.
I think you might not see the problem，The problem about DESIQ Mode is I am concerned ,in this mode, can i directly use a 1:1 balun to drive the ADC?
Yes, you can use a 1:1 balun to directly drive DESIQ Mode.
