Hi,

I am looking for an ADC with 10 MSPS or more for data acquisition system to be interfaced with OMAP-L138 Experiment Kit. I have seen many ADCs on TI website with sampling rate over 10 MSPS but I am not familiar with specific type of interface needed to attach any ADC with OMAP-L138 Experiment Kit.

I would appreciate your help to choose one for my application.

Regards,

Tariq

    Philip,

Thanks for your reply but it didn't help much. I have less understanding of hardware interfacing stuff so please ignore if I asked some thing stupid.

I asked what ADC EVMs are available to attach with OMAP-L138 Experimenter Kit. I want to interface an ADC with OMAP-L138 Experimenter Kit to sample analog signal with sampling frequency atleast 4 MHz. I don't see any serial or parallel interfaces on the OMAP-L138 Experimenter Kit baseboard features diagram. In this condition, how can I interface an ADC with that board ?

The document you mentioned is using OMAP-L138 processor which actually has two uPP interfaces which has been used to interface AD and DA converters. In contrast, I am intending to use Experimenter Kit due to low cost.

Hope you understand what I am looking for.

The OMAPL138 experimenter kit is supported by the OMAP team.  Have you posted in their forum?  They are going to have better knowledge of what interfaces are available on the kit.

    Kind Regards,

    Philip
