I have the problem of TSW3100 GUI software in my laptop. I can't transfer the pattern to TSW3100 with FTP even though there is no error on Ping. I'm trying a few different way to resolve this problem; remove & reinstall the GUI software and MATLAB runtime or remove a few other software that I installed in these few months. But I've not yet to get the way to solve this problem. Could you give me the advice if you have any idea?

I will be using the TSW3100 pattern generator to test the DAC5682Z and DAC5688.

We have seen this problem with interfacing to the TSW3100 (Ping OK, transfer times out) in two situations.

    1) The computer's firewall is blocking the tftp program. Some firewalls are know to prevent the transfer, like Black Ice. The quickest solution is to disable the firewall.

    2) Once we had a customer who set the USB/Ethernet adapter IP address the same as the TSW3100. Ping would work but the transfer would not. Try changing the IP address of the adapter and make sure the TSW3100 DIP switches are configured correctly for the IP address you want to use (see user's guide).
