ADC121C021 sample certain pins at power up only?

I want to use the ADR0 and ADR1 pins of the ADC121C021 (VSSOP package) as chip selects.  In order to do this, these pins need to be sampled continuously by the ADC121C021 rather than just sampled at power up.  Are these pins sampled continuously are only at power up?

    Hi There,

    You should be able to do what you propose.

    The ADC internal controller re-acquires the state of the ADRx pins, and assesses the slave address, after every START condition in the I2C bus.

    So indeed, by changing the state at the ADRx you can make the device ignore or respond to I2C transfer requests.
