12D1600RF external clock not working

Dear support,


I've some problems with the external clock in the board.

In the forum history I found this conversation ( http://e2e.ti.com/support/data_converters/high_speed_data_converters/f/68/t/304442.aspx ). It is about problems on the 12D1800RF.

I think it is the same problem but I just want to verify if it is really the same problem on the 12D1600RF (I work with the newer version 12D1600RFRB2)


I want to solve it with a jumper between the two clock possibilities. Are there any experiences?

    Hello Andreas,

    If you are using the ADC12D1600RFRB2, then you have the board with the relay included. To switch to external clocking simply requires that you change to external clocking in WaveVision5 under Signal Sources as shown below.
