Hello everybody,

I'm configuring the DAC34SH84 evaluationboard with the GUI and I wonder how to save the configuration to the DAC, so that it knows what to do after switching off and on again. I also recognised, that all configuration data vanishes when I plug out the USB cable at DAC or PC side.

Hi Jens,

To save the current register file settings, use the "Save Regs" button at the bottom of the GUI. To load the saved file, use the "Load Regs" button.

Hello Eben,

thank you for your reply. What I meant was how to write the configuration to the DAC board itself, so it doesn't need the PC anymore.

Your answer lets me save the configuration into a file on my PC, which is really important but not what I was looking for.

Hi Jens,

Thank you for the reply. There is no way to save the configuration file onto the DAC board itself but we can look into doing this in future revisions of the board.

Hi Eben,

just to get it right: I bought a 500$ DAC board that cannot run by itself but needs a PC connected all the time? And after a blackout, I have to reconfigure it by hand?
