ADS42JB69 damage input level (INAP INBP INAM INBM)

The ADS42JB69 datasheet has an absolute maximum input (INAP, INBP) level of 3 volts.  Is this based on a high duty cycle input waveform, or average power dissipation?  Moreover, can a higher maximum input voltage be derived based on a lower duty cycle waveform or average power, for example a 10% duty cycle?

    Hi Jmarz,

    The absolute maximum rating is the recommended maximum voltage that can be applied under all operating conditions (at both high and low duty cycles).

    Operating the ADS42JB69 above the recommended maximum rating under any condition affects the reliability of the part.
