How can I configure DAC39J82 to get 2.8GHz of sampling frequency?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC39J82, DAC39J84

Hi,

I want to put 700MSPS of data and 2.8GHz of final sampling frequency by using x4 interpolation.

What I found from datasheet is the DAC PLL should be turned off, which means 2.8GHz should be input from external PLL device through DACCLK_P/N pins.

But from datasheet page 10, the DACCLK_P/N frequency only ranges up to 2.5GHz.

Is it just a kind of mis-printing or am I getting something wrong?

Beside, the version of the datasheet I've got is SLASE47 JANUARY 2015. Is it the latest? If not, please send me the latest version.

Thank you.

Nathan
