can HSDC load data from file more than 65536 samples?thanks

Hi all,

I am recently working on DAC38J84, using HSDC to load data from local file in PC and send to TSW14J56 EVM board. Currently, i find that HSDC can only load 65536 samples from file, can anyone tell me if it is possible to load for example 655360 sample data? thanks!

    Hi,

    HSDC Pro has always been able to load a large data file to fill the memory of the attached TSW14xxx EVM.  The display was originally set to the 1st 64k due to display/FFT processing reasons.  We had some PCs that had memory issues and causing the system to crash.  This did not limit the size of the buffer loaded, but only the portion that was displayed.  This was just for a sanity check that the correct signal was loaded.  In the newer version of HSDC Pro (3.1 and 4.0) the visible window can be set to larger value up to 512k.  Again this does not limit the actual file/buffer size, just the visible portion.
