Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS850

hi all,

this is Sharath, am using ADS850 in my design the problem is the cal busy pin is not getting low at any point of time my clk speed is 10Mhz. Vref is 1.8V

  • Hello Sharath

And how is this related to TM4C12x series of uC?

A client firm of ours has used this device - they have not noted this issue.

Is yours an "Eval Board?"   That's always best - pcb layout of such complex devices is strict/demanding.   Do describe how you've mounted to your pcb.

Two critical pins impact calibration: CBP1 & CBP2.  Good quality 0.1µF (ceramic) mounted very close to those pins are required.

During the ADC's calibration procedure - all supplies & references "must" be solid/stable/adequate.   Do yours meet that requirement, really?

You realize that "calibration" is (only - and potentially) completed after 32,775 clock cycles have been generated "after" you've properly pulsed (2 clock cycles) the CAL pin.

For an IC of this complexity - your single sentence presentation here seems (somehow) not quite up to task...
