We have a customer experiencing problems with the TSW1405EVM, DAC3282EVM and ADS4142EVM.

CUSTOMER EMAILED, "Never able to use hardware, because the software kept freezing up and never functioned properly. We ordered new boards
from another company and they work perfectly, so we need these to be returned."

Could you please advise if you have had any other issues with these parts.

    Tiffany,

    The message is a little cryptic.  Can you clarify which EVM and software had a problem?

    The TSW1405 is for the ADS4142, there should be a TSW1406 for the DAC3282.  The TSW140x is controlled by HSDC Pro GUI while the DAC and ADC are both controlled by their own software GUIs.

    If possible please let us know which software was freezing up.  It is possible that there was some issue with the boards as we have seen the USB chip get corrupted in some rare cases which caused the device GUI to not recognize the EVM.

    If things are working and you just need to return some hardware, then I would contact the sales or distributor to start the return process.  This will go through our official channels and will be handled appropriately.

    Per the customer all three eval boards (The TSW1405EVM, DAC3282EVM and ADS4142EVM) experienced freezing software.

    Should we return for an RMA? Please advise
