ADS5400 Overrange Bit TEST Pattern

Can someone tell me what the overrange bit does when the ADS5400 is put into one of its various test pattern modes? Does it operate as usual or does it become part of the checkerboard/PRBS sequence?

Hi,

I checked with the design lead on this device, and I am told that the test pattern mode when selected is present on the OVR outputs as well as on the data outputs.
