"high performance mode" in the ADS42B49

The ADS42B49 datasheet recommends "Set the HIGH PERF MODE[1:11] bits to obtain best performance across input signal frequencies", e.g. in Table 4, p. 27.

- But -

All the charts are shown with "High-Performance Mode disabled."   My question is:

What effect does setting the HIGH PERF MODE[1:11] bits have?  in what way is the performance "best"?

(By the way, this is in contrast to the datasheet for the ADS4249, where behavior is charted with "High-Performance Mode enabled." It's also in contrast to my expectations about specs-manship, where I imagine a manufacturer would always put their best performance in the charts.)

My application involves digitizing a relatively low frequency signal (< 10 MHz) with lots of harmonics, e.g. up to 60 MHz, of which I would like to record a reasonably faithful representation.

    This is a typo in the data sheet. It should say "High-Performance Mode enabled". When this mode is enabled, it increase the input buffer current, optimizes the buffer’s common mode voltage and sample timing inside the device.
