SPI Configuration Register for ADC and DAC

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC38J84, ADC16DX370

Hello TI,

I am currently trying to configure the registers of ADC16DX370 and DAC38J84 on a FMC 144 daughter card with SPI interface. I had a query regarding the SPI Pin configuration for ADC & DAC to read the registers with MISO(SDO) pin in 4-wired mode. Can you kindly help me with the same?

For ADC, there is a SPI_CFG( Address : 0x0010) register through with we are able to set and control the SPI logic level to control the MISO(SDO) output logic level. It has also mentioned in the manual that this register needs to be configured before performing a read command with SPI. We are able to write and read the ADC registers successfully.
But for DAC, I did not find any such register configuration through with we can set the SPI logic level to control the MISO(SDO) output levels. And since the MISO(SDO) pins are separate for ADC and DAC, they need to be configured separately. We are unable to read the DAC registers for its values. Can you provide me more information on how to perform the SPI Configuration for DAC and set the levels to control the MISO(SDO) output levels since there is no register to perform this configuration.
Thank You,
Anuj.
