TSW1405EVM: COMPATIBILITY OF TSW1405 DATA CAPTURE CARD with serial LVDS ADCs

How to know whether the low cost data capture card is supported by the particular ADC listed in the high speed data converter section.I am looking for a quad channel and not less than 125 MSPS ADC for high speed data sampling application.Please suggest an ADC that is compatible with the TSW1405EVM .

You can also look at the HSDC Pro release notes to see which devices are supported by HSDC Pro for each of the TSW1400/1405/1406/14J50/14J56 and several FPGA platforms.

Thanks Ken for the help.I wanted to use ADS4229EVM along with the TSW1405 data capture card. ADS4229EVM is having the option of using onboard VCXO(TCO-2111T ) and crystal BPF(TF2-Q5EC1 ) manufactured by Toyocom. This gives the flexibility of using only an external 10 MHZ sine wave reference for using ADC.But both the VCXO and and crstal BPF are not obselete. What parts can be used as alternatives ?Can I use the Epson VCXO that is attached below EV7050EAN_en.pdf

Hi Jim

Could you please suggest a part that I can use as alternative to crystal BPF(TF2-Q5EC1) manufactured by Toyocom Epson for mounting on ADS4229EVM.Currently the item is obselete and I am not able to find any matching component.I am getting stuck at this point.Kindly help me to sort this out.

Ashlin,

Look at Cryrstek, Fox, Vectron, NKG, or ECS. These companies all make VCXO's. Just make sure the pinout and footprint match the current part used on the board.

also, regarding the crystal-based bandpass filter from Toyocom, it has been quite a few years since those devices were used as options on some of our EVMs and we are not at present aware of a direct replacement. But since those filters were crystal based, I would suggest checking with each of those companies that Jim mentioned. There are fewer companies that make the filters than make the VCXOs, but those that do make the filters would almost certainly make the oscillators as well, but maybe not all that make the oscillators will make the filters. Also, the last time I checked Epson Toyocom still made some similar filters, even if not that exact part number, so check with them as well.
