ADC32RF45: ADC32RF45 Input level improvement

Part Number: ADC32RF45

hi,

I need a help on ADC32RF45, I want to use the ADCC32RF45 in bypass mode. since the fullscale voltage is 1.35V, Can it be increased? or is there any other solution? at the input side of the ADC that we can Add up and improve the input level?

  • Hi,

Do you want the full scale voltage to be something larger such as maybe 2V diff peak to peak rather than 1.35V?  No, we do not have an adjustment for full scale voltage.  Usually if your external signal is too large for the ADC full scale then you would just use an external resistive divider before the analog input to reduce the signal by a known amount.

If you need the full scale voltage to be smaller, so that a smaller input signal fills up more of the range then some amplification is needed, and this device does have a setting for digital gain, up to 11 dB of gain setting.  This effectively makes the input full scale less than 1.35V, so that more of the range of output codes are used by a smaller input signal.
