ADS54J60EVM: Histogram (or code density) on ADS54J60

Part Number: ADS54J60EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS54J60

Hi,

I'm using a TSW54J60EVM and a TSW14J56EVM to evaluate the ADS54J60 and the LMH6401.  I have captured raw data from a sine wave (10MHz, 0dBm) and also from a DC signal (50ohm to ground). The time domain and frequency domain graphs seem correct however the histograms are problematic.

The histogram of an ideal sine wave should be displayed as a nice "single-line" bathtub curve.  However, the raw data captures with "High Speed Converter Pro" shows non-linearities.  See figure below.

The histogram of an ideal DC signal should be displayed as a nice "single-line" narrow bell curve.  However, the raw data captures with "High Speed Converter Pro" shows non-linearities.  See figure below.

Do you have measurements for Integral non linearity error (INL error) or Differential non linearity error (DNL)  for the ADS54J60?

Thanks,

Patrice
