TSW14J57EVM: Serial Number does not show in the GUI

Hi,

I have installed HSDC Pro software to evaluate the ADC12DJ3200. I have the TSW14J57 and the TSW14J56. When i follow the instructions in the user guide SLAU701, step 3.11.2, I do not get anything displayed on my PC. see below

I have uninstalled HSDC Pro and reinstalled twice. Still no luck :-(. Please help.

    Hi,

    Please confirm that when the TSW14J56 or TSW14J57 is plugged into the PC and powered up that it is enumerating correcting in Windows. Please have a look at the TSW14J57 users guide section 4 for details. If the TSW14J5x is not enumerating and visible on the USB list in device manager it will not be visible to HSDC Pro. If this is the case the USB drivers were not installed properly and you will need to install HSDC Pro as administrator.

    Hello,
    Thank you for the quick response. I am running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1. I am installing HSDC Pro as administrator. After another try last evening, I was able to finally get the software to detect the board. For whatever reason, it takes about two minutes or so, for the software to detect the TSW14J57.

    Ok glad its working - That is strange that it would take so long.  If you want to trouble shoot further, you can check to see how long it takes Windows to enumerate the USB when you plug it in.  It should should up in device manager within seconds.
