TSW1400EVM: Max. Sample Rate for Dual Channel ADC

Hello,

does the TSW1400EVM support a sampling of two channels with a sample rate of 500 MSPS each and a bit resolution of 12 Bit like it's necessary for example for the ADS5407. In the desciption I can find that it provides 16-bits of data at 1.5 GSPS. However, in the User's Guide of the TSW1400EVM I found the information "For two-channel parallel DDR bit-wise data formats, 14 of the LVDS data pairs are used to support two channels of 14-bit resolution at up to 250-MHz sampling rate." How do these two informations fit?

The TSW1400EVM will support captures of 2 channels of 12 bit data at 500MSPS for the ADS5407. The wording in the User's Guide is incorrect.

Is the TSW1400EVM also able to capture data from two channels with 800 MSPS and 12 Bits each like for the ADS5402? Or is it able to capture only one channel with 800 MSPS?

It can capture both channels at the same time at 800MSPS.

thanks for the really quick answer.
Hopefully, one last question: For the DAC side, all Dual-channel 800 MSPS DACs, like the DAC3283, have a resolution of 16 bit. This would result in a data rate of 2*0.8*16 = 25.6 GBit/s in total for both channels. The TSW1400EVM supports 16*1.5 = 24 GBit/s data rate max. Is this calculation correct? Then for the DAC side 800 MSPS for 2 channels with 16 bit resolution would be too high?

You can send dual 16 bit LVDS data out of the TSW1400 at a max rate of 1.25GSPS to the DAC.
