I am new here in this filed , i want to select a DAC which has following specification

1. to work at 2.4 gsps.

2. need to transfer my data on RF frequency upto 6 GHZ through 3 rd nyquist zone .(only through DAC)

3.need a work flow of design .

We have a part they may work depending on what power level you need. Can you let us know what minimum power you need and what bandwidth in the 3rd Nyquist you plan on using? Can you tell us what application this is for?

Hi sir ,

1. maximum bandwidth required 20mhz.

2. i have to transmit OFDM symbol at 2.45 Ghz directly from RF DAC, in third nyquist zone.

Avinash,

You mentioned you want to send data up to 6GHz in the 3rd Nyquist but if the DAC is sampling at 2.4GHz, the 3rd Nyquist would be 2.4GHz to 3.6GHz. I am confused by your 6GHz requirement. Can you explain more?

yeah You are right , its typo mistake .

we need a DAC at 2.4 GHz which work on 3 rd nyquist zone. can You please told me part no. so we can move our work further

Avinash,

The 3rd Nyquist is only 1.2GHz. You cannot get 2GHz of bandwidth per your request in the 3rd Nyquist. Also the power will probably only be around 40dbm. To get what you want, you need to sample at a much higher frequency and use one of our DAC38RF8x parts.
