Hi
I want to interface LDC1000 with beaglebone black. I can do it by UART but I want to use USB instead.
I tried to find LDC1000 driver, but couldn't find it. Is it available or not for linux?
Thanks

Hi Mitul,
When you connect through USB it should show up as a serial port. After you plug in do
dmesg | grep tty
you can also try listing the device in /dev/tty
When you open the port (use any baudrate, it is virtual), type '?' for the ASCII-based menu for quick testing. To grab data you will have to either use the legacy protocol in the E2E FAQ documentation or the binary-based protocol. Of course you can use the ASCII too if the limited function suffices.
Thanks,
Hi
Thank you for your answer. You mentioned legacy protocol in E2E FAQ. I couldn't find it. Will you point it out?
Thanks
