offset drift correction in LDC1000

Hi,

What is the best way to correct the offset drift in LDC1000 Frequency data? I appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Kumar

  • Hi Kumar,

At you seeing the frequency drift due to some system change? Is the target stationary with respect to the coil? Also, it is easy to get drift from other conductors in the field. Other sources of drift come from temperature variation.

  • Hello Chris,

My target and coil are fixed to a frame. There is no vibration in the system. I have setup my prototype on bench itself. I can see small drift over the period of time. Exactly like Load cell drift. what is the best way to avoid the drift in terms of hardware and software?

    Regards,

    Naveen

  • Hi Naveen,

I apologize for an extended set of questions, but I would like to understand the effect you are seeing. How large is the drift? How long does is take to manifest? Is it constant? Is there a temperature shift in the system? Does this occur even if the target is not present?
