I want to design EEG 128 channel for ads1298 , use standard configuration (datasheet Figuure 41 Multiple device configurations).
what the ADS1298 can Multiple device configurations Maximum ? 32 pcs or 16 pcs or 8 or ?
The only limitations that I am aware of for connecting multiple ADS1298 devices in the standard configuration modes would be the drive strength of your START and CLK sources along with the /CS capability of the host. I suspect in this case it would be an FPGA with multiple GPIOs to act a chip selects. Trace lengths across the board would be a potential concern.
Can I use the ARM9 design the 128 channel eeg?

So long as your ARM9 has an SPI interface, you should be able to get 128 channels. Speed of data retrieval will be your biggest concern. You may want to consider using multiple SPI ports and daisy chain banks of ADS1298 in parallel.

Hi tom, I have a question, i am doing 16 bipolar channel ecg system to university project so i need two ads1298.I want to know how can i connect the rld wire and shield wire? Because i am using two differents cables.
