Per the documentation for ADCPro, it says if you want to install on a computer not connected to the internet to send a note to the E2E forums for a link.

Can you please provide a link to the installer?

Thanks

    David,

First, I'd like to clarify why ADCPro v2.0.0 and beyond requires an internet connection for future posters and inquiries on this topic.

ADCPro has recently (04/03/2012) been updated to version 2.0.0 to provide support for Windows 7 machines, since Windows XP is nearing the end of it's lifecycle. In addition to providing Windows 7 coverage we added a 'launcher' application to help our customers and field representatives stay updated with patches to ADCPro and to make plug-ins & ADCPro easier to find, install, and download. The launcher component of ADCPro utilizes the internet to acquire ADCPro and it's plug-ins - users who do not have internet access in their labs or workstations (department of defense projects etc.) obviously cannot use the Launcher to download ADCPro or plug-ins.

User's without internet access need to download ADCPro and their plug-in(s) of interest to portable media to bring to their labs. Currently, the ADCPro launcher also installs the LabVIEW run-time, a requisite to run LabVIEW applications, since for most users the Launcher will be the first component installed. The ADCPro core installer only installs the ADCPro application with no LabVIEW run-time. To provide ADCPro to users without internet connectivity we have also built a version of the ADCPro installer that includes the LabVIEW run-time which can be downloaded from this location: ftp://ftp.ti.com/pub/data_acquisition/ADCPro2/no_internet_version/adcpro-wlvrt-2.0.0.exe

Note that the installer, 'adcpro-wlvrt-2.0.0.exe' includes the version of ADCPro as a suffix. In the future this link may not work since the version will change. To service this question in general navigate to ftp://ftp.ti.com/pub/data_acquisition/ADCPro2/no_internet_version/ and look for an executable with the name 'adcpro-wlvrt-x.x.x.exe'

Plug-ins can be found on the respective data converter product folder as they have been in the past.

I just installed the adcpro-launcher-1.0.1.exe application on two different machines, one Windows 7 and one Windows XP.  On both machines the application installs, but when it runs the first time and tries to update the application it continues to report that there is no internet connection.  I've tried the retry option numerous times and it does not seem to help.  I've verified that both machines have valid IP connections to the internet and can reach TI's web pages.  I see that previous postings with adcpro installer issues have all mentioned the 1.0.0 version.  Are there any known issues with 1.0.1 and internet access?

    Regards,

    Dustin

    Dustin -

There is still a problem with LabVIEW in that it doesn't always see the connection....we are currently working the issue.

In the meantime, you can download the main installer using the above post or at the following:

    ftp://ftp.ti.com/pub/data_acquisition/ADCPro2/no_internet_version/adcpro-wlvrt-2.0.1.exe.

Keep in mind this link is current as of this date and may change in the future

    Greg,

I can't seem to connect to this ftp site, can you please send me an email with the program in it, or an updated link?  I am in desperate need of this immediately.

    Thanks,

    greg

    Greg,

We've been working with the IT Team to try to rectify this FTP issue that's been arising with a number of our customers as of late. Unfortunately the FTP is the best method of delivery that we can realize. Sending files this large via email is not practical.

Have you been able to download the software? I may just post the file on sourceforge or something temporary for you to acquire it if you're still facing issues. Sorry for the delay.

    Greg -

Please check to make sure that your firewall/ISP/company access is not restricted to prevent access.  I have discussed this with our IT folks and there are no visibility issues that should prevent you from accessing the ftp site and associated data
