Hi,

I am using DAC8560 for analog 4-20mA output. Sometimes in the noisy field application, DAC8560 gets damaged or gets hanged.

    Hi Minesh,

    The DAC8560 data sheet (page 25) describes some layout considerations for this device.  How do you have the ground pin connected in your system?  Noise can also get coupled into the DAC8560 through the digital control pins as well.  Overshoots on the control pins which might exceed the maximum limits of VDD +/-0.3V could also cause the issues you describe above.  Small series resistors can be employed on the /SYNC, SCLK and DIN pins to help alleviate these sorts of problems.  If you can send along a schematic and/or layout, we'd be happy to look over them for you.
