Is there a way to import ibis models into EAGLE?

Or perhaps someone knows where I can find a library that has the model for the ADS1255?

    Hello Ukie,

I think, this question was accidently posted on the Stellaris MCU forum. I am moving it to the High-Speed Data Converters forum so that a data converter expert can provide you the information you need.

    Hi,

Actually, this is a precision device I believe, so I am moving the posting again.

    Regards,

    Richard P.

    Hi Ukie,

The IBIS model for the ADS1255 is here:

    http://www.ti.com/litv/zip/sbam108

To the best of my knowledge, you can't use an IBIS model inside CadSoft EAGLE, so perhaps you can let us know what it is that you are trying to do.

    Regards,

    Tom

I have that file, rather I was hoping someone might have a link to an actual model I can incorporate into EAGLE instead of having to create one myself.

So you are looking for a schematic symbol and/or PCB footprint that you can import to Eagle?  If that is the case, we don't have anything readily available.  Perhaps one of the others here on the e2e forum does.

    Regards,

    Tom
