Hello,
I have configured my evaluation board the following way for single ended inputs:
1) Set all jumpers to factory defaults.
2) Remove all jumpers from J6 and J25.
3) All reference electrodes (negatives) can be routed to SRB1 pin by applying REF_ELEC to pins 6 of JP25, in addition to this JP7 pins 1&2 and JP18 pins 1&2 must be shorted and SRB1 must be set 'on'.
4) Provide single ended inputs to pin 36, 32, 28, 24, 20, 16, 12, 8 of J6
My understanding is that I can have the BIAS_DRV set internally by the ADS1299, this is determined by the RC network, R8 and C20 on the board. Since I intend to BIAS the patient, should this electrode be connected to pin 2 on JP25? and be buffered by U11? If I don't intend to have a need for a programmable reference, can I leave BIASIN floating?
Would another way to BIAS the patient be by placing a jumper on pins 1&2 of JP25 and pins 5&6 of JP25? and removing the jumper on JP6?
I have gone over sections 7 and 4 of the datasheet for the evaluation board but I'm still unsure about this. Any help would be appreciated it.
