ECG single power supply 3.3v with INA333

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA333, OPA2333, TIPD116, ADS8881

Hi,

We are currently trying to design an ECG with the INA333, and some OPA2333.

We tried several schematics on breadboards, with 2 and 3 electrodes to acquire the heart rate (more electrodes just can't do for our project). The problem is : we are limited to a single power supply of 3.3V max. Even though we found quite a few schematics of ECGs with different designs, whether on the datasheets or on forums, none of them worked. Moreover, they were mostly designed for a power supply over 5V.

Would someone happen to have a good idea or a schematic that will do the trick please ?

Thanks a bunch !

Cheers

  • Edouard,

TI has several reference designs for different applications that have been tested with specific schematics and written up with explanations of the theory of operation. If you look at this one: http://www.ti.com/tool/TIPD116, it has a data acquisition block with an OPA2333 in the front end, and an ADS8881 for acquisition. The analog supply runs on 3.3V.

If you go to the folder, you can find the write-up and design files.
