"Programming guide or C program" to Read the Data from
From ADS130E08 using SPI from Mcf5272 controller.
Hi Mohd -
I am not sure we understand your question.
Are you asking if we have a programming guide for the ADS130E08 or example program? The user guide for the EVM can be found at ADS130E08-PDK. We do not have a programming guide for the EVM, however the datasheet has a flow diagram beginning on page 44 that may help.
Thanks for the reply.
I am looking for sample code( c Language) to read analog to digital values of ADS130E08 using SPI (serial peripheral interface), Looking for SPI routines for ADS130E08 like intialization ,Adc conversion, read ADC Values etc.., ( or ) SPI interface programming Guide for ADS130E08.
Application program developed will run on Motorola microcontroller.
Thanks
Hi Mohd -
The datasheet has information regarding timing and command related details in addition to the flow diagram on start-up/initialization of the part (the "interface guide").
We can provide you with the source code for the EVM (that works with a C5507/9 DSP) but that is the limitation of source code. Let us know if you would like this for reference.
Please provide me source code (u can send to my mail Id) it can help me to speed up my understanding of SPI communication with ADS130E08.
Can you Please check the below link, Is this the "interface guide" you specified in the last mail.

Hi Mohd -
You should receive an email with more information on the source to the email address provided in your account.
As stated, there is no dedicated interface guide; we usually include interface information in the datasheet. The datasheet provides information on the timing specs, command details and data readback information. For example, Figure 1/2 and associated table provide the timing specifications for the interface that you must meet and the SPI Interface section begins on page 21..
Hi Mohd -
You should have received an email with this information previously in the email provided in your account informaiton. We will resend the email in case it was not received.
Hi Greg,
Can you send me the source code as well?
I'm going to use the chip with the TIVA microcontrollers.
.rar preferred over .zip
Thanks,
Stephen
